Bence Mihálka

Bence Mihálka started their career at NSN - Nokia Solutions and Networks in 2009 as a Software tester and worked there until 2012. Bence then joined Budapest University of Technology and Economics as a Junior Researcher from 2012 to 2015. In 2014, they joined Ericsson as a Software Engineer and worked there until 2018. Since 2018, Bence has been working at Irdeto in various roles including Software Engineer in Test, Senior Embedded Software Engineer in Test, and currently as a Product Owner.

Bence Mihálka completed their education at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. From 2014 to 2017, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Routing Table Compression and Router Virtualization. Additionally, they obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Technical Informatics from the same university, although the specific start and end years for this degree were not provided. In terms of certifications, Bence earned the Professional Scrum Product Owner™ I (PSPO I) certification from Scrum.org in March 2022. In October 2018, they obtained the ISTQB Certified Tester - Advanced Level Test Automation Engineer certification from the ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board. Furthermore, Bence completed the Cryptography I course offered by Coursera in July 2018 and obtained the ISTQB Certified Tester, Foundation Level certification in March 2018.
