Mark Stobbart

Mark Stobbart has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Mark is currently working at Irdeto as a Lead Content Creator, a role they have held since March 2023. Prior to that, they served as a Content Marketing Manager at the same company from April 2022 to March 2023.

Before joining Irdeto, Mark worked as an Independent Author at The Starting Block, an online platform for creative writing, with a focus on trauma and life experiences. Mark self-published a book called "The Mental Game" in 2021, providing insights into living through the diagnosis and treatment of cancer in a young adult.

Mark also worked as a Content Specialist at Swiss Point of Care from November to December 2021, where they wrote scientific articles, collaborated on developing a new brochure, and edited content for social media and PR communications.

In 2019, Mark held the role of Content Marketing Specialist at Sakura Finetek Europe, where they created engaging content, wrote white papers and testimonials, and managed LinkedIn communications. Mark also briefly worked as a Recruitment Consultant at Frank Recruitment Group, where they conducted interviews and qualified candidates, as well as engaged in business development and client meetings.

In 2018, Mark worked as a Content Specialist at Nielsen, acquiring and correcting program information for UK sports programs and TV listings. In 2017, they worked as a Ghost Writer at Future Fuel, conducting market research and writing an Ebook on sports nutrition.

In the past, Mark has worked as a Performer and Project Manager at Ballroom and Latin, where they arranged dancers, choreographed routines, and exceeded sponsor satisfaction. Mark also worked as a Marketing Intern at Together Abroad Multilingual Job Board & Career Support | Outplacement Services, where they created digital content and built relationships with candidates.

Mark's early experience includes working as a Session Musician and Audio Engineer, recording violin and managing sound for various projects and performances.

Mark Stobbart completed their education with a Master's degree in MPhil Psychoacoustics from Stellenbosch University in 2016. Prior to that, in 2015, they obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Music Technology from the same university. Mark also holds a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Music Technology from Leeds Beckett University, which they earned from 2011 to 2014. In addition to their academic achievements, Mark has obtained certifications in Advanced Sports and Exercise Nutrition from Shaw Academy in February 2017, Bronze Ballroom and Latin Dance from the South African Dance Teachers Association in September 2016, and completed the BMW Advanced Driving Course at BMW Driving Experience Slotemakers in 2013.
