Maya Bielecki

Software Developer - Connected Transport at Irdeto

Maya Bielecki has a diverse work experience. Maya worked at Irdeto as part of the Security Assurance and Imperto Teams, where they conducted penetration testing of Linux programs and developed a mobile app for access control and equipment sharing in construction. Maya also owned and operated Starfish Swim Tutoring for over four years, managing the business, hiring employees, and generating clients through advertising. Maya interned at the University Students' Council at Western University, updating websites and fixing bugs. Maya worked as a System Analyst at Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP, performing security audits and testing software patches. Maya also worked as a swim instructor at 101 Sports Group and the YMCA of Greater Toronto, and as a summer camp counselor at Kerry's Place Autism Services. Throughout their various roles, Maya acquired skills in leadership, communication, and problem-solving.

Maya Bielecki completed their high school education at Glenforest Secondary School from 2011 to 2015. During this time, they obtained an International Baccalaureate Diploma and Ontario High School Diploma. After high school, Maya attended Western University from 2015 to 2020. Maya pursued a Bachelor of Science degree with an Honors Specialization in Computer Science and a minor in Software Engineering. In October 2019, Maya also obtained a certification as an Emergency Medical Responder from the Canadian Red Cross.
