Norbert began their career at Deloitte Nederland as an intern, where they gained a foundation in security and privacy. Norbert later joined Irdeto as a Forensic Cyber Investigator, conducting investigations into major pirate operations and providing forensic support during datacenter raids.

At Irdeto, Norbert continued to advance their career, taking on the role of Lead Cyber Security & Forensics. In this position, they performed in-depth security assessments on video infrastructure for key operators and provided them with pragmatic plans to improve their overall cyber defenses against security threats.

Recently, Norbert has taken on the role of Senior Manager Cybersecurity & Content Protection at Irdeto, highlighting their expertise and leadership in the field. With their diverse experience and expertise, Norbert has proven himself to be a valuable asset in the cybersecurity industry.

Norbert V. has a diverse education history in the field of cybersecurity and information technology. Norbert first attended ROC Zeeland from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a MBO-4 degree in Network Engineering. Following this, from 2010 to 2014, Norbert pursued a Bachelor's degree in Information Security Management at De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences. Currently, they are attending Leiden University and is expected to complete their MSc in Cyber Security in 2022.
