Siri Berntsen

Siri Berntsen's work experience includes a role as a Junior GRC & Sustainability Analyst at Irdeto, a leading cybersecurity company, starting in November 2022. During an internship at Irdeto from May 2022 to November 2022, they supported the development of the company's global ESG framework and sustainability program, managed the ESG Committee and other stakeholders, guided the company through legal requirements, advised on completing a double-materiality assessment, and researched the benefits of UNGC and SBTi membership for future sustainability integration.

Prior to their role at Irdeto, Siri worked at Leiden University from September 2021 to February 2022. As part of a team of five students, they consulted SPIE Nederland on improving their SDG reporting to better reflect their contribution towards the goals and ensure usability for employees with different backgrounds. They developed an SDG reporting tool based on surveys and interviews with company representatives, ensuring its alignment with the organization's strategy and avoiding "SDG-washing."

Siri Berntsen completed a Bachelor of Arts in European Studies at the University of Amsterdam between the years 2016 and 2019. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science in Governance of Sustainability at Leiden University, which they completed from 2020 to 2022.
