Vikrant Nigam

Vikrant Nigam has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years in the technology and broadcasting industry. Vikrant began their career in 2005 with Conax Access Systems Pvt. Ltd., where they worked as a Project Manager, designing and implementing Conditional Access Systems.

In 2008, they joined Three D as a Manager Projects, responsible for designing Head Ends for broadcasters and cable operators. Vikrant also handled the installation, implementation, and troubleshooting of Video Compression Chains, as well as provided pre-sales support to the sales team.

Vikrant then moved on to NDS Limited, where they worked as a Sr. System Support Engineer. Vikrant'srole involved planning, implementing, and maintaining CAS systems, as well as handling various migrations and simulcrypt projects. Vikrant also played a role in the design and implementation of DR sites.

At Cisco, Vikrant worked as a System Engineer from 2008 to 2017. Vikrant focused on delivering new technologies and coordinating between different teams for seamless integration and development.

In 2017, they joined L&T Technology Services as a Project Lead, where they worked on the integration of NDS products with third-party components. Vikrant also designed and implemented demo systems and supported services development.

Most recently, Vikrant joined Irdeto in 2018 as a Lead CIS Engineer. Vikrant'sresponsibilities include planning and deploying the Irdeto CA System based on Windows Hyper-V clusters and MS-SQL Clusters for broadcasters and DTH operators. Vikrant collaborates with solution architects and product managers to solve complex problems within tight timelines, and they also manage delivery, analyzes requirements, monitors progress, resolves issues, and implements corrective and preventive measures.

Vikrant Nigam pursued their secondary education from K.V.A.M.C. Lucknow between 1991 and 1993. During this time, they completed their AISSCE degree with a focus on Maths, Physics, and Chemistry. Subsequently, between 1993 and 1996, they attended Lucknow University, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Electronics Science.
