Patrick Herrera

Patrick Herrera has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Patrick currently works at Iress as a Platform Principal, where they have been since November 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Technical Lead at Iress from December 2017 to February 2022.

Before joining Iress, Patrick co-founded and held a shareholder position at Six Faces Pty. Ltd. from 2012 onwards. Six Faces is a Wagering Games developer known for delivering online wagering experiences and assisting wagering operators in acquiring and retaining customers.

From 2013 to 2017, Patrick worked at IOOF Holdings Ltd, first as a Contract Technical Lead from June 2013 to March 2015, and later as a Delivery Team Lead from April 2015 to November 2017. At IOOF Holdings, they were responsible for developing internal applications and managing distributed projects across multiple locations.

Patrick's entrepreneurial ventures include being a co-founder of Lust Have It! Pty. Ltd., Australia's first monthly beauty sample subscription service. Patrick was involved in building Lust Have It! from scratch in 2011, securing investment, and establishing strong relationships with suppliers and customers.

In 2004, Patrick co-founded Future Medium Pty. Ltd., a web development business that became a dominant player in the Tasmanian market. Patrick led a team in creating world-class websites for various brands and industries, including TOTE Tasmania, Betfair, and CSIRO.

Throughout their career, Patrick Herrera has demonstrated expertise in technical leadership, team management, and entrepreneurship across diverse industries.

Patrick Herrera attended the University of Tasmania from 1995 to 1997, where they studied Accounting, Computer Science, and Maths. Prior to that, they attended Friends School from 1988 to 1993.
