Patrick Harrington

Patrick Harrington is an accomplished statistician and machine learning expert with extensive experience in bioinformatics and data analysis. Currently serving as a Staff Machine Learning Scientist at iRhythm Technologies, Inc. since July 2021, Patrick focuses on developing tools to achieve internal goals. Previously, as a Staff Bioinformatics Scientist at Guardant Health, Patrick led the bioinformatics team and successfully managed multiple submissions for Follow-on CDx. Patrick's career also includes significant roles at Genomic Health as both Principal and Senior Biostatistician, where collaboration across various functional groups was emphasized. Early experience includes algorithm development at Triple Helix Corporation and research and teaching roles at the University of Connecticut. Holding a Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of Connecticut and a Bachelor's in Mathematics from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, Patrick has a strong academic foundation complemented by practical expertise.
