Richard Smith

Richard Smith has a diverse work experience in the aviation industry. Richard began their career in the United States Marine Corps as an Avionicsman E-5, where they were responsible for the maintenance of electronic, communication, navigation, and COMSEC equipment on CH-53E military rotorcraft. After leaving the military, Richard joined General Atomics Aeronautical Systems as a Field Avionics Technician II, where they deployed to austere locations and assisted in the manufacture of various remotely piloted aircraft and surveillance systems. Richard then worked at Talon Aerolytics as a UAV Pilot in Command, utilizing unmanned aerial systems to capture high-resolution imaging data for various industries. Richard later joined Measure, the Drone as a Service® Company, as a Senior sUAS Operator, providing turnkey solutions for aerial data acquisition. Richard then transitioned to Amazon as a Flight Operator before joining Iris Automation Inc as a Flight Operations Specialist.

Richard Smith completed their high school education at Winter Park High School from 2001 to 2005. Richard graduated with a High School Diploma.
