Meike Arts

Meike Arts has a diverse background in social work and support roles, with experience spanning various organizations since 2012. As a Woonbegeleider at Centraal Orgaan opvang asielzoekers (COA), significant responsibilities included serving as the primary contact for residents and facilitating connections with relevant agencies. Previous experience includes working as a Maatschappelijk werker at Cape Town Child Welfare Society, assisting clients in identifying and achieving their support goals, and serving as an Ambulant Hulpverlener at IrisZorg, where responsibilities involved visiting clients with addiction backgrounds in their homes. Additional roles at IrisZorg included triaging clients and working as a groepswerker to provide initial support for individuals in vulnerable situations. Prior to these roles, Meike Arts worked as an Adviseur at UWV Werkbedrijf, encouraging Wajong customers towards employment.
