Sony Thomas has Tech. Degree in mechanical engineering and an MBA in Marketing, he joined IRM as Marketing Manager in early 1997. He has more than 25 years of valuable experience in technical sales and marketing, including project monitoring. In addition, he has established a sound base for the company among all the major ports, EPC companies and consultants. He has been active in implementing ISO 9001 and other customer-oriented programs and initiatives. He got promoted to General Manager (Marketing & Operations) in 2002. He was instrumental in establishing the company's presence in the overseas market, including the appointment of marketing associates/ sales agents worldwide. He is now responsible for all technical and operational matters with clients, consultants, EPC contractors and research institutions. He has exposure to both domestic and international markets and has developed excellent techno-commercial acumen. He got promoted to Director, Marketing & Operations, in 2015.
