Steve Bloomquist

Steve Bloomquist has over 30 years of experience in the IT industry. In 2017, they began working as a Senior Systems Engineer at Iron Gate Technology, where they designed and implemented IT infrastructure, services, compliance and support for small and medium-sized companies. Steve also developed scripts in Connectwise Automate and MS Powershell to achieve automation goals. At the same time, they also began working as a Software Services Engineer at Lucas Systems, where they developed software enhancements and bug fixes for several generations of voice-directed warehouse picking application code. From 1989 to 1991, they worked as a Programmer/Analyst/Director/CIO at cfacts, managing and participating in all aspects of corporate information technology. From 2014 to present, they have been a Composer for The Door Kept Shut. From 1993 to 2010, they were the Lead Guitarist, Songwriter, and founding member of rock band Lost Frontier. In 1995, they worked as a contracted Web Developer for Broadway Comics, creating a website to showcase the various titles offered and an online 'dealer locator' to connect potential buyers to retailers. Finally, from 1991 to 1993, they worked as the Director of Software Services at Phoenix Specialties, Inc.

Steve Bloomquist attended PennWest California for Management, Computer Tech for an Associate's degree in Computer Science/Programming and Accounting, and North Allegheny High School. Steve also holds an Associate Computer Professional certification from the ICCP.
