Ironbound Medical Services is a privately owned occupational medical clinic focused on providing exceptional customer care in determining whether prospective or existing employees are medically qualified to perform their job.

Our medical philosophy differs from the cookie cutter approach used by most large providers.

Decades of experience and research have taught us that the majority of injuries do not require formal physical therapy and that over-the-counter pain relievers are sufficient for pain management in most cases.

Yet when a workers' comp injury comes in, our competitors immediately write for physical therapy, and proceed to tack on prescription medications, splints, and other treatments that make an injury either more expensive, OSHA recordable, or both.

This playbook is designed to maximize revenue and allow doctors to move quickly from patient to patient. It takes advantage of the trust employers put in their physicians.

This is furthered by the fact that most providers employ physician assistants and nurse practitioners as a way to cut costs, who are not as well versed in the nuances of occupational medicine.

At Ironbound Medical Services, we only staff board certified physicians who are comfortable executing a stepwise approach to treatment that is both effective and affordable.

When it comes to customer service, we are always a phone call away. Our receptionists are eager to answer your questions, and there is no directory when you call us.

Our physicians always make themselves available for clients and patients. We personally oversee all billing, guaranteeing a level of accuracy and flexibility that is simply not possible when working with a large provider.
