Carl Smith

Carl Smith is currently the Senior Regional Director for Oceania at The IRONMAN Group, a role they have held since 2024. Previously, they served as the Regional Director for Oceania and worked extensively in various operational and event management positions within the organization. Carl gained valuable experience as a Route Group Supervisor for Road Cycling during the London 2012 Olympics and held multiple roles in operations management across Asia. They began their career in event coordination with Triathlon Queensland and IMG/Human Race. Carl earned a Bachelor of Business in Sport Management from Griffith University between 2007 and 2009.
