Wayne Reardon has extensive experience in race direction, currently serving as Race Director for Oceania at both IRONMAN and Ironman New Zealand since January 1999. Reardon held the position of Course Director from 1999 to 2005 before transitioning to Race Director for Ironman NZ in 2006. In addition, Reardon has been the Race Director for Ironman Taupo 70.3 since 2015 and for the ASB Auckland Marathon since the same year.
