Chi Shu

Chi Shu has a diverse work experience in the field of advanced analytics and modeling.

Starting in 2007, Chi Shu worked as a Marketing Analyst at Potpourri Group, where they managed CRM strategies and analyzed customer behaviors to generate annual sales of $75 million. They also developed Excel VBA scripts and led a team to develop an inventory tracking model.

From 2010 to 2011, Chi Shu worked as a Data Specialist at the MA Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, providing consulting services and applying statistical analysis to assess school operations and student performance.

In 2012, Chi Shu worked as a Process Improvement Intern at Rochester General Health System, where they analyzed financial impacts and developed optimization models for nursing units.

During the same year, Chi Shu also worked as a Research Assistant and a Teaching Assistant at the Simon Graduate School of Business, University of Rochester.

From 2013 to 2017, Chi Shu worked as a Predictive Analytics Consultant at The Ironside Group, Inc., providing consulting services on predictive modeling and advanced analytics to clients across different industries.

Since 2017, Chi Shu has been working as a Senior Analyst in Advanced Analytics-Modeling at Liberty Mutual Insurance.

Chi Shu has a diverse education background that spans multiple disciplines. In 2001, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Language and Literature, General from Beijing University of Chemical Technology. After that, they pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Economics from the University of Connecticut, which they completed from 2005 to 2007. Later, in 2011, Chi Shu attended the University of Rochester - Simon Business School, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Finance, Competitive Strategy, and Health Sciences Management, which was completed in 2013.

In addition to their formal education, Chi Shu also acquired certifications. In September 2012, they obtained the Advanced Certification for SAS 9 from the SAS Institute. In the same year, they also became a CFA Level II Candidate, certified by the CFA Institute, which they achieved in June 2012.
