Daniel Oran

Daniel Oran is an accomplished professional with expertise in both creative and scientific fields. As the Founder and CEO of Irradiant Technologies since May 2020, Daniel has led innovative ventures while also working as an Experimental Photographer and fine art printmaker at Irradiant Art since January 2013. Prior roles include serving as a Synthetic Neurobiology Research Assistant at MIT Media Lab, where Daniel contributed to advancements in brain study tools and nano-fabrication technologies from March 2015 to May 2020. Prior experience includes digital printmaking and archiving at Blueflower Press and roles in digital archiving and photography at Blaise Tobia Photography and Photo West Gallery. Daniel Oran holds a PhD and a Master's degree in Nanotechnology and Neuroengineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, alongside a Bachelor of Arts in Photography and Natural Sciences from Hampshire College.
