Gary Klinefelter has a diverse work experience in the technology and innovation sector. Gary is currently the Chief Technology Officer of IrriGreen, where they have led the development and testing of a new intelligent sprinkler system for landscape irrigation. As the CEO and Founder of IrriGreen, they focus on driving market adoption of the product.

Prior to IrriGreen, Gary worked as a Principal at Creative Innovation Strategies, providing executive consulting services in innovation strategy, business conception, and product development. Their expertise includes areas such as technology evaluation, product portfolio strategy, and software development.

Before that, Gary served as the VP Strategic Innovation at HID Global, where they led innovation and standards globally and was responsible for identifying new business concepts. Gary also managed intellectual property in the company's Eden Prairie location.

Earlier in their career, Gary was the VP Technology at Fargo Electronics, where they led the development of secure identification technologies and oversaw the development of identification printing products. Their work played a significant role in the company's acquisition by HID Global.

Gary Klinefelter obtained an Executive Certificate in Strategy and Innovation from the MIT Sloan School of Management in 2009. Earlier, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from the University of Minnesota, specializing in Microprocessors and Software between 1974 and 1979.
