Marc Verwerft is an experienced Group Leader in Nuclear Fuel at SCK CEN, with a strong background in nuclear research and international R&D projects. They hold a PhD in Solid State Physics and Electron Microscopy from Universiteit Antwerpen, where they were an FWO fellow. Marc has published over 80 peer-reviewed scientific articles and has coordinated multiple EU-funded and industry-sponsored research projects.
