Ian Gilbert

Ian Gilbert is a highly experienced legal professional specializing in costs management, currently serving as a Senior Associate and Costs Technical Specialist at Irwin Mitchell since August 2002. In this role, Ian leads a team of Costs Draftsmen, primarily focusing on multi-party actions. Additionally, Ian holds the position of Director and Board Member at the Association of Costs Lawyers Training since December 2021. Ian’s career began as a Clerk at Lincoln City Council from November 1994 to August 1999. Ian graduated with a Law degree from Sheffield Hallam University between 1999 and 2002.
