Peter Salmon

Peter Salmon, ACA, currently serves as Head of Group Planning and Reporting at Irwin Mitchell since June 2014. Prior to this role, Peter held positions including Interim Head of Finance at Life Environmental Services in early 2014 and Senior Financial Consultant at esg | The Employment and Skills Group for a due diligence project in late 2013. Peter took a career break in 2013 after serving as Senior Finance Manager at AQA, where responsibilities included managing finance for three subsidiary companies and overseeing a major acquisitions program. Peter's extensive experience began at KPMG UK, where a tenure from 1996 to October 2012 involved managing diverse audit and advisory projects, alongside various secondments in management accounting and financial reporting. Peter holds a BSc Hons in Chemistry from The University of Sheffield and A Levels in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry from Trent College.
