Phil King

Phil King is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in serious injury investigations, currently serving as a Senior Associate at Irwin Mitchell since February 2011. At Irwin Mitchell, Phil collaborates with the serious injury team, leveraging a background as a senior investigator for Northumbria Police from October 1978 to February 2011. During this time, Phil held multiple roles including Police Sergeant and Lead Investigator into Road Deaths, where responsibilities included supervising and investigating numerous fatal and serious road traffic collisions. With over 32 years of experience in law enforcement, Phil was recognized as the most experienced Senior Investigating Officer into road deaths at the time of retirement. Phil's educational background includes attendance at Rdiley High School in Blyth from 1972 to 1977.
