Sonia Akram

Sonia Akram is a Chartered Legal Executive currently working at Irwin Mitchell since October 2016 in the Costs Management Team and previously in the Work Place Injury team handling occupational illness claims. Sonia is an accredited Litigator with APIL and has experience as a Paralegal in the Work Place Injury department focusing on industrial injury and asbestos claims. Prior to Irwin Mitchell, Sonia held a legal placement at Newcastle Building Society and worked as a Customer Advisor, as well as a Collections Agent at Santander Bank, N.A. Sonia earned an Mlaw (exempting) degree in Law from Northumbria University and completed A Levels in Maths, Law, and Accounting at Newcastle College.
