Dave Darnell

Dave Darnell is the Founder and Director of Systrends, a position held since January 1987. Darnell has maintained active membership in several professional organizations, including (ISC)², ISACA, NRECA, Texas Electric Cooperatives, OASIS, the Electricity Distributors Association, and the North American Energy Standards Board (NAESB), where Darnell serves as a board member and is appointed to the OASIS Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) Technical Committee. Previous consulting roles include positions at Exelon Energy and ERCOT, where Darnell was also the Founding Chair of the TDTWG. Darnell holds an MBA in Information Systems from The University of Dallas, an MBA from Georgia State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington.
