Fernando Ferrer

Fernando Ferrer is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the fields of information technology, audit, and cybersecurity. Serving as the Chapter President of ISACA Bogotá from 2004 to 2007, Fernando has been involved with ISACA since November 1999. Currently, Fernando works as a Profesional Experto at Banco de la República, focusing on auditing, IT governance, and information security since November 1996. As a co-founder of FERROL International Group, Fernando emphasizes training, consulting, and auditing related to IT governance, strategic planning, project management, and cybersecurity. Additionally, from 2008 to December 2014, Fernando held the position of Director of the Specialization in Systems Audit at Universidad Católica de Colombia, overseeing curriculum development and faculty selection. Fernando Ferrer holds a Specialization in Systems Audit from Universidad Católica de Colombia and has completed an executive program in Strategic Systems Management at Universidad de Los Andes. Fernando is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
