Jared Gordon is a seasoned professional in the fields of cybersecurity and IT risk management, currently serving as Cybersecurity Manager and IT Risk Manager for the Government of Nova Scotia since November 2019. With extensive experience in IT audit and consulting, Jared previously held the position of IT Audit Manager at the Office of the Auditor General of Nova Scotia and worked with KPMG Canada and Ernst & Young as a Senior IT Consultant and IT Auditor, respectively. In addition, Jared has been involved with ISACA since August 2013, holding roles including President and Past President, while co-chairing the ISACA Atlantic Provinces Chapter IT Security & Risk Symposium. An alumnus of Saint Mary's University with a B. Comm in Computer Information Systems, Jared holds multiple professional certifications, including CISA, CDPSE, and ITILv3.
