Mike Thompson

Mike Thompson serves as the Practice Lead for Risk Advisory at Vital Advisory, focusing on areas such as Banking & Finance, Information Security, IT Risk Management, and Regulatory Compliance, among others, since September 2013. With an extensive background in IT auditing, Mike has held leadership roles at organizations including Suncorp, ING DIRECT Australia, Westpac, Bank of South Pacific Ltd, and ASB Bank. Active in professional communities, Mike has been a member of ISACA since 1991 and has contributed as a member of the CISA Test Enhancement Subcommittee. Additionally, Mike played a key role as the chair for the Oceania CACS conference in Sydney in 2015. Educational credentials include studies at Auckland University of Technology, the University of Auckland, and Victoria University of Wellington.
