Rafal B. serves as the Vice President of IT Security Operations at Fortitude Re, where strategic leadership is provided in maintaining a fully auditable Cybersecurity Program and Data Security Plan across the organization's environment. Responsibilities include establishing compliance with NIST frameworks, managing team development, overseeing vendor relationships, and reporting on IT security status to senior management. Prior to this role, Rafal B. was the Assistant Vice President of IT Security and Controls, leading the implementation of an enterprise-wide cybersecurity program aligned with NIST standards. Experience also includes a tenure at EY as a Financial Services Cyber Risk Senior Consultant, managing various assessments and consulting on regulatory alignment. Additionally, Rafal B. is a board member of the ISACA Bermuda chapter and holds a Master’s degree in Accounting with a focus on IT from North Carolina State University, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Catawba College.
