Michael Dropmann is a Principal Propulsion Engineer at Isar Aerospace, having previously held positions as a Senior Turbomachinery Engineer and Project Engineer. They were a Research Assistant at the University of Stuttgart from 2016 to 2017, focusing on an arcjet de-orbit system and an inductively coupled plasma wind tunnel during their PhD candidacy. Prior to that, they contributed to research at Baylor University from 2012 to 2016, where they co-lectured on spaceflight and supervised student theses in plasma diagnostics.
