Buddy Varney

Buddy Varney has a diverse work experience in the construction and security industries. Buddy is currently working as the Director of Mission Critical Facilities at ISC Constructors. Prior to this, they held the same position at Turner Construction Company. Buddy also served as a Project Manager for the Mission Critical Division at Cummings Electrical Inc. and as the Vice President of a division at GVI Security Solutions. Buddy has extensive experience in project management, estimation, procurement, and coordination of services and subcontractors. Buddy has worked with various clients, including retail chains and government agencies. Additionally, Buddy worked as an Estimator at Bexar Electric and DEC Electric, where they were involved in quantity take-offs, negotiations, and decision-making processes. Buddy Varney has an Associate's degree in Airframe Mechanics and Aircraft Maintenance Technology/Technician from St. Phillips College, which they obtained from 1979 to 1982. Buddy also took classes towards construction management at Palm Beach Community College from 1989 to 1991, and studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering at St. Phillips College from 1986 to 1989, but did not complete either degree. Additionally, Buddy has various certifications including being a Master Electrician in multiple locations, including the State of Texas, Sweetwater Texas, Abilene Texas, SBCII, Del Rio Texas, San Antonio Texas, Temple Texas, Waco Texas, and Palm Beach County Florida. Buddy also has certifications as an Electronic Security Branch Manager from the State of Texas and a Fire Planner II from NICET.
