Allan Orozco

Allan Orozco, PhD, is currently a Professor in Engineering and Bioinformatics at the University of Costa Rica and serves as the Director of PROSIC. They hold significant roles in various organizations, including Director of BioCANET for the International Society for Computational Biology and President of Cellerix Genome SA. Orozco has had past leadership roles, such as General Director at Indromics Bioinformatics SA and Manager at the Spanish National Bioinformatics Institute. Their academic journey includes a MSc and PhD in Nano-Biotechnology & Biomedicine and Bioinformatics from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, along with ongoing postgraduate studies in Genomic Medicine at the University of Valencia.
