Yusha Araf, MRSB, is a doctoral candidate at The University of Auckland focusing on Biomedical Science, specifically nutriepigenomics. Yusha has extensive involvement in the iGEM community, serving on the Safety and Security Committee, as a judge, and as a delegate for the Ninth Review Conference of the Biological Weapon Convention. Additionally, Yusha contributes as a startup mentor for iGEM EPIC, supporting aspiring entrepreneurs in the biotechnology field. As the founder of the Community of Biotechnology, Yusha facilitates networking among students across Bangladesh. Other roles include curating TEDx SUST, being a member of various prestigious societies such as the ISCB and ACMG, and holding leadership positions at the Hult Prize Foundation as Media & Communications Director and Campus Director. Yusha holds multiple degrees in biotechnology and engineering from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology and Bangladesh Agricultural University.
