Robert Adams has over 40 years of experience in the technology industry. Robert began their career in 1978 as a Nightclub Disc Jockey and Sound Engineer for various companies. In 1994, they worked as a Network/Security Engineer and Consultant for Hailstorm Security. In 1999, they joined ViaHealth as a Network & Security Engineer, where they were responsible for a system wide upgrade across multiple campuses of a class A network. In 2001, they worked as a Contract Security Engineer for Xerox, assisting with the "Extranet" initiative. In 2002, they joined Vanteon as a Sr. Network Engineer, providing day to day internal corporate network engineering support and expertise. In 2009, they became a Sr. Network Engineer for Point-N-Click. In 2011, they joined SkyPort IT, Inc. as a Sr. Security Engineer, providing Network Engineering, Network Security Architecture, HIPAA and PCI-DSS Compliance in Commercial, Industrial & Healthcare Systems. In 2017, they began working as a Lead Cybersecurity Engineer for iSECURE, LLC, providing Security, Assessment, Compliance, and CISO Services for Educational, Industrial, Commercial and Medical organizations.

Robert Adams attended Pittsford Sutherland High School from 1973 to 1976, where they obtained a Regents degree in Science & Mathematics. Robert then attended Monroe Community College from 1976 to 1977, studying Mathematics and History.
