John McCafferty

John McCafferty is an experienced site and project manager with a robust background in the construction and engineering sectors. Currently serving as the resident project manager at ISG since July 2021, John oversees civil, structural, and architectural works for Merck, Sharpe & Dohme in County Carlow, Ireland. Previously held significant roles at Fluor Corporation, including PMC Deputy Construction Director for the Maaden Wa'ad Al Shamal Phosphate Project, where John managed an $8 billion project encompassing substantial phosphate processing facilities. Additional experience includes working with Weatherford on oil field developments in Iraq, as well as key management positions at Punj Lloyd, SNC Lavalin, and GRD Minproc, focusing on various complex construction projects globally. John holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the London Derry College of Technology.
