Simon Chapple has extensive experience in consulting, sales, and operations, with a career spanning over three decades in the technology sector. Currently, Simon serves as a Principal Consultant at ISG, providing governance and advisory services to clients undergoing digital transformations, utilizing advanced research and governance tools. Prior to ISG, Simon had a long tenure at IBM, where Simon took on various roles including Client Partner Executive, Project Executive, and Sales Operations Executive, managing significant outsourcing contracts and sales operations for major governmental clients. Beginning the career at IBM in 1990 after graduating with a BSc (Honours) in Computer Science and Mathematics from The Australian National University, Simon also worked at Hewlett-Packard Australia, focusing on sales to government clients. Throughout the career, Simon has consistently achieved sales targets and contributed to operational efficiencies, showcasing a strong commitment to client satisfaction and business growth.
