Robert Gross has had a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Robert started their career as an Intern Engineer at Symbol Technology in 1976. Robert then worked at SMSC, where they held the role of World Wide Applications Manager for over eight years, during which they contributed to the significant growth of the company. Robert's responsibilities at SMSC included engineering sales support, reference designs, and demo boards.

In 2002, Robert took on multiple roles at different companies. Robert served as a Director of HPNA Field Trials at CopperGate Communications, a Technology Representative at iSine Inc, and as Director of Corporate Development at Quartics - Wireless IP TV. During this time, they also worked as an Independent Consultant.

In 2006, Robert joined iSine Inc as a Sr. Engineer and later transitioned to the role of Senior Sales and Marketing Engineer. Robert Gross attended Prospect Hill Elementary in Pelham Manor from 1961 to 1967. Robert then enrolled at Pelham Memorial High School and graduated with a Regents Diploma in 1973, focusing on Physics and Electronics. From 1973 to 1978, Robert pursued a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Fine Arts at Stony Brook University, where they also engaged in graduate work in Biomedical Engineering at the Graduate School in 1977-1978.
