Max Reed

Max Reed currently serves as the VP of Finance & Corporate Development at Island since April 2021, and holds the position of Board Observer for multiple companies including Shoreline.io, PartsTech, Relevance AI, Overwolf, Copado, OwnBackup, and Bynder, the latter of which was acquired by Thomas H. Lee Partners. Previously, Max Reed was involved with Insight Partners from 2018 to October 2023 in a venture/growth capacity, deploying over $1 billion of capital across 20 enterprise and vertical software companies. Max Reed's experience also includes a role in product and growth strategy at Purple Squirrel, Inc. in 2017. Max Reed holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Science, Technology and Society from the University of Pennsylvania.
