Roy Avrahamy

Roy Avrahamy is an experienced Application Security Engineer with a career spanning over eight years, currently serving at Island since January 2025. Previous roles include positions at Akeyless Security, Compete, Kaltura, and Outbrain, where expertise in application security was consistently demonstrated. Prior to focusing on application security, Roy worked as an Information Security Consultant at Hacktics Ltd. and as a Programmer in the Israel Defense Forces, developing standalone systems using C# and VB6 integrated with SQL and Pl/Sql in ORACLE 9i. Roy holds a High School Diploma in Computer Science and Physics from Nahalal High School, completed in 2009.
