Michael Nosley has a comprehensive work experience spanning over several years. Michael began their career at EADS Astrium (formerly known as "Aérospatiale") in 1985, where they worked as a Software Engineer, specializing in missile guidance software and missile flight simulation.

In 1990, Nosley joined Motorola as a Senior Software Engineer, contributing to the development of the Channel Tunnel radio communication system and implementing quality procedures and tools. Michael also worked on various real-time embedded software projects, including display drivers and code correction algorithms.

Michael'srole at Motorola further involved creating integration test tools for the TETRA system, using C++ on Windows and HP-UX platforms. Michael also developed TETRA base station embedded code, focusing on time slot reservations using SDL, C, and pSOS. Additionally, they played a significant role in the successful implementation of the TETRA system ahead of Nokia, and their work contributed to the supply of the Airwave system to the UK emergency services.

From 2005 to 2009, Nosley worked as a Software Design Consultant at NEC, where they specialized in GSM physical layer support and played a crucial role in monitoring and producing patents for LTE standards. Michael then transitioned to NEC Technologies as an Intellectual Property Rights Developer, filing several patents related to 3GPP standards, with a specific focus on LTE.

In 2009, Nosley established their own company, eXplanoTech Ltd, where they served as a Software Design Consultant until 2012, providing expertise in software development and design.

In 2013, Nosley worked at SurePort as a Software Design Consultant, where they were involved in C/C++ development on Linux, embedded systems (OpenWrt), and server-side development (Amazon EC2). SurePort was a start-up focusing on providing parental control solutions for home networks.

Following their time at SurePort, Nosley joined Ericsson Television (now MediaKind Global) in 2013 as a Senior Software Engineer. Michael'sresponsibilities included developing control software for video encoders in a multi-processor embedded real-time system. Michael also performed continuous integration tests to ensure the quality and reliability of the software.

Nosley's most recent work experience is with Isode Ltd, where they have been employed as a Software Engineer since March 2019.

Michael Nosley attended Ecole centrale de Nantes from 1977 to 1982, where they pursued a degree at the MSc level in Engineering, Systems Control. Additionally, from 1977 to 1979, they enrolled in the program called "Classes Prepas" M, which focused on higher maths and physics. The purpose of this program was to prepare him to have a decent chance of scoring well in the competitive exams for "Grandes Ecoles".
