Jing Jing is currently serving as a Carbon Removal Scientist at Isometric, where responsibilities include developing verification frameworks for marine carbon dioxide removal pathways and fostering scientific collaborations. Prior experience includes a role as a Graduate Student Researcher at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution from September 2017 to March 2023, and a PhD Research Internship at Google from June 2021 to April 2022. Jing has also contributed as a Teaching Assistant at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology for courses in physical oceanography and machine learning. Additional experience includes positions as a Snowboard Instructor at Middlebury College Snow Bowl, an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at Middlebury College, a Space Physics Intern at NOAA, and an NSF REU Applied Economics Intern at the University of Vermont. Jing holds a PhD in Physical Oceanography from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BA in Physics from Middlebury College.
