Thomas Rizzo

Thomas Rizzo, Professor Emeritus at EPFL, has extensive experience in chemical physics and bioanalytical chemistry. As the Dean of the School of Basic Sciences, Thomas oversaw faculty hiring, strategic priorities, budget allocation, and external scientific review. Currently, as the Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer of Isospec Analytics, their research interests include molecular spectroscopy, ion mobility, and mass spectrometry. Thomas previously held positions at the University of Rochester and the University of Chicago's James Franck Institute. Thomas holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a BS in Chemistry from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
