Geoff Shepherd has diverse work experience spanning several industries. Geoff began their career as the Head of Executive Search at Lorien PLC in 2003. In 2008, they founded and became the Chief Executive Officer of iSource Group, a recruitment business specializing in IT, Digital, and Sales teams. At iSource Group, Geoff led various functions including Technology Leadership, Sales Leadership, and hiring target-hitting sales staff. Geoff also developed expertise in areas such as DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, Software Development, Programme and Project Delivery, Data Science, Networks, and Cyber Security. As the Chairman and Founder of The Yorkshire Mafia, Geoff created a unique business membership organization that combines networking with social media advantages. In 2015, they founded Ho Ho Homeless, a charity aimed at supporting homeless individuals. Geoff has also played key roles in other ventures such as Skill Will CiC, Silicon Yorkshire, Know Someone?, Ronin Search, Biodiversity UK, and SRVCD, where they continued to leverage their leadership and business expertise. Geoff's career is marked by their passion for creating innovative solutions and making a positive difference in various industries.
Geoff Shepherd attended Audenshaw Grammar School from 1980 to 1985. Geoff then attended Hyde Sixth Form from 1985 to 1988. After that, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Behaviour In Organisations at Lancaster University from 1988 to 1991. Following their undergraduate studies, Geoff went on to obtain a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Systems Management from the University of Lincoln from 1992 to 1993.
