Paul Maruk

Paul Maruk has worked as a Business Intelligence Developer for iSpace, Inc. since 2020. In this role, they have gathered, analyzed and documented business requirements and business rules by working directly with end users, interacted with developers on various aspects ranging from usage of utilities to SQL performance, test data and general troubleshooting, and done SQL performance monitoring and tuning of reporting data by optimizing indexes and stored procedures. Prior to this, Paul worked as a Senior BI Developer at Admiral Insurance Group from 2018 to 2020. During this time, they played a key role in Sprint Planning for Agile Methodology, Feature grooming, and calculated Users Story Points and helped with Backlog prioritization. Paul also performed code reviews for Pull Requests via Azure DevOps and participated in application architecture and design and other phases of SDLC. From 2016 to 2018, Paul worked as a BI Developer at Saint Francis Healthcare Systems. In this role, they actively participated in daily scrum meetings, sprint planning/grooming sessions, and discussed new requested features/user-stories/tasks with Business Analysts and updated the status of tasks assigned on Jira. Additionally, they played a main role in the Migration Project, where all data from Legacy SAP Business Warehouse (BW) was migrated to MS SQL Server Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), as well as, all SAP Business Objects Reports were migrated to Power BI Services Platform. From 2014 to 2016, Paul worked as an ETL Developer at 777 Partners. In this role, they used Team Foundation Server to report bugs and to maintain product backlog items, setup various Team Projects into different Team Project Collections in TFS environment, and tested the data with complex queries, joins and sub queries.

Paul Maruk attended Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno from 2008 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor's degree.
