Akash Kaparthy

Akash Kaparthy is a skilled aerospace engineer with extensive experience in systems engineering within the space sector. Currently serving as a Sr. R&D Systems Engineer at ispace, inc. since November 2020, Kaparthy has held various roles, including Lander Systems Engineer. Prior experience includes serving as a Space Systems Engineer for the QKDSat project at Fraunhofer IOF, where responsibilities encompassed managing the quantum key distribution satellite mission. At Humboldt University of Berlin, Kaparthy worked as an Optical Systems Payload Engineer on the QUEEN mission, focusing on a compact optical laser system. Previous positions at Blue Sky Solutions GmbH and Bharat Dynamics Ltd involved designing separation systems for sounding rockets and developing advanced propulsion systems, respectively. Kaparthy holds a Master’s degree in Space Engineering from Technische Universität Berlin and a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Science from Malla Reddy College of Engineering & Technology.
