Luis Ruiz

Luis Ruiz is a Guidance, Navigation and Control Engineer at ispace, inc. since June 2018, specializing in the development of dynamic and sensor models, along with real-time algorithm implementation for spacecraft navigation. Prior experience includes a role as a 基盤技術開発エンジニア at 株式会社リケン, focusing on automation processes and machine learning for production improvements, and serving as a Control Systems Engineer at General Electric, where design and validation for aviation control systems were primary responsibilities. Luis Ruiz holds a PhD in Advanced Robotics from Chiba Institute of Technology, supported by Monbukagakusho scholarships, and has a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from Texas A&M University, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering from Instituto Politécnico Nacional.
