Tomás Liendro is a Senior Mechatronics Engineer at iSpace, inc., where they contribute to developing infrastructure for human presence in outer space. A graduate of the Instituto Balseiro with a Bachelor’s in Mechanics and currently pursuing a Master’s in Engineering, Tomás has also worked at Skyloom Global, focusing on optical communication technologies for space. They co-founded Spacebee Technologies in 2020, leading a team that developed an open-source lunar rover, which achieved multiple accolades including the Best Use of Technology award at the NASA International SpaceApps Challenge 2023. Passionate about robotics and innovation, Tomás is also fluent in four languages and engages in various activities including trekking, playing guitar, and karate.
