Ricardo Grilo

Ricardo Grilo is an accomplished senior executive with 19 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as the Associate Director of Engineering at Hikma Pharmaceuticals, Ricardo oversees engineering operations and strategy. Previously, they held several leadership roles at Laboratórios Atral, including Plant Director and Director of Quality Assurance, where they managed critical production units and conducted external audits globally. Additionally, Ricardo is actively involved in the ISPE community, serving as the Chair of the European Affiliate Council and a founding board member of ISPE Portugal Affiliate. They have also earned an Executive MBA from ISCTE and a degree in Chemical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico.
