James Ellis

James is from the beautiful wine-country of Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand. He has taught English language and literature in an international school in the UAE for five years, and for eight years in a prestigious high school in Auckland, New Zealand. Previous to his secondary teaching career James taught EAL in schools and universities in Japan for a number of years.

He has a Master’s degree in Philosophy, degrees in English and History, a postgraduate secondary teaching diploma as well as international EAL qualifications.

Literature, film and music along with food and travel are some of James’ passions. He also has a love for sport especially hiking, rugby and cricket.
