Joe Edge

Primary Teacher at ISPH

Originally from a small village in Norfolk, England, Joe graduated from the University of Leeds with an honours degree in Sports Science. Coming from a family of teachers inspired Joe to continue his studies at the University of East Anglia, where he earned his PGCE in Primary Education. Joe began his teaching career in the UK, taking on the role of Head of Computing in his second year. He then pursued his dream of living abroad, moving to an international school in Malaysia where he became a Year 6 class teacher. Joe’s next adventure involved moving to North Carolina in the USA, to teach children in Years 3, 4 and 5 and to mentor student teachers from a nearby university.

Throughout his time teaching, Joe has used his experience as a qualified coach to incorporate his love of sports, by becoming the football coach for various age ranges.

In his spare time, aside from football, Joe plays a variety of sports including golf, cricket and tennis. He loves to travel and explore new places and is excited to be moving to Hanoi and meeting everyone at ISPH.
