Sam Kaplan

Sam Kaplan is currently the Head of Institutional Funding at IsraAID, where they develop and execute global fundraising strategies and manage institutional donor relations. They previously served as a Senior Associate at the Association for Civil Rights in Israel and as the Director of International Relations at Bimkom, overseeing resource development and compliance for various donor organizations. Sam also held academic positions as an Assistant Professor at both Tel Aviv University and Ben Gurion University, contributing to research in Middle Eastern history and anthropology. With a PhD in Anthropology from the University of Chicago and a BA in Archaeology from The Hebrew University, they have a strong academic and professional foundation in their field.
